Wild Game Bistro & Market

I would gladly pay this much for a good bison burger but it tasted like a previously frozen patty. Even getting it cooked medium rare didn’t make it juicy. The fries were really good, but the staff weren’t wearing masks and that lack of customer care put us off ever wanting to return.nnUpdate: You can thaw out frozen bison and make a non-compressed, well-seasoned patty. I do it frequently with store bought ground bison. I will be sure to leave more positive reviews at the restaurants I enjoy—I am mainly driven to let others know about negative things like the lack of masks during a pandemic, a safety issue for public health.

The food was very good. The employees were fantastic and the ambiance was neat. My first time here, but it won't be my last. The elk and bison burgers were very good, as were the fried pickles and the fried onion petals. The French fries were awesome, as well. The waitress was a hoot.

Love this place...Had the bison burger one day and had to come back for the elk burger. A short beautiful drive from alamogordo. The staff and environment is made of love and the food expressed it. A must visit.

Really good service very good food. Good prices. Best catfish in town.
