Mayhill Cafe & Hotel

Had the special, fried catfish with hush puppies and fries. It was very good. The place was busy, for being in Mayhill, but we had no wait time and there was sufficient space and tables that we even sat and visited after our meal was finished. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the neighborhood.

On our way to white sands from Carlsbad we stopped at Mayhill cafe. At first we were just not expecting much from that place but we were wrong. This is a true hidden gem in mayhill. We tried Santa Fe chicken, the chicken was so tender juicy and flavorful. We also tried chicken tacos which came with Mexican rice, chips and salsa. The portion and the taste is too good. Staffs were very friendly. People were generous and kind at mayhill. Don’t miss brownies there.

What a great surprise. Absolutely loved this place. Had heaters outside and enjoyed our breakfast there. Had the bacon, cheese omelet. The best I've ever had. My Son had the biscuits and gravy and loved it and He is very picky. Hope to go back soon. Such a cute town and friendly people.

Open from 7 to 2pm on week days, 7 to 7 weekends. It's a small town cafe. It seems like everyone knows everyone. Food Is good. People are friendly.
