Always a pleasure to come check out what good hearted people are willing to donate. You will be surprised what you will find. Recently someone donated a car!! Quite crazy I know. You can find a wide range of items from household items like plates and silverware to paint and windows, furniture, tools and etc. etc.. worth a look cuz chances are the habitat has what your looking for.

Great place to find gently used items at a good price!

I have been shopping the Local Restore for years, usually treated well. The management has changed several times yet I have always been treated with respect and even consideration, I am grateful for that.nI have had trouble recently with the new management, on one occasion I was interested in a refrigerator, it was a new arrival and had been plugged in, it was obviously working as it was cold inside. When I inquired about it I was told a decision on it would be made the next day. So next day I show up early and the frig has been sold for $60; I expected to pay $110 which is about the going price for a clean used refrigerator. I figure I got the double shuffle which happens,nIn on Saturday and I ask about a jetted tub, Sally the current management tells me more parts are coming, give me your number I'll call you.nShow up the next business day and inquire about the tub she says this lady has bought it, shoves past me and goes inside to make the sale.nI asked why she didn't call me, I am sorry is all she would say.nShe had decided to sell the tub to a friend or at least someone she knew and had lied to me about calling me. When she was given the opportunity to rectify the situation she just kept saying I am sorry.nIt has been my experience that when someone lies to you and then says their sorry they lie about that as well.nPoint is do not trust what you are told by the Management or the volunteers. It is obvious that lies are a matter of convenience and organization is not much of a concern either.

I love coming here to see what treasures and surprises await. I furnished my little apartment almost entirely with items from the Restore, and for incredibly cheap prices!nEven though the staff changes periodically, nearly all the employees are nice and super friendly (except the grumpy truck driver).nYou'll be glad you came!
