The hospital is located in a beautiful part of Brooklyn. And unlike many hospitals in the city, it has a pleasant ambiance. Once I arrived, I was greeted and given some paperwork to fill out. It was the standard paperwork (name, address, contact information, medical history...). After I filled it out, I only waited about 5 minutes before I was seen.

I don’t know about anything else but I had the best experience in their delivery room. The nurses were so nice and compassionate. They made me feel loved and cared for. Anyone having a baby I recommend it here. Nurses were never rude to me or mean. I LOVEEED my experience here. They helped me in every way possible.

Great and super friendly helpful emergency room staff, hospitals of course are the last place anyone wants to be but my visit went great and felt like I was important and was well taken care of Great Job Gila Reg emergency room staff.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. My sister entered the ER after seeing her NP and then told to go home and call an ambulance. She was anaemic and upon being evaluated was found with an oxygen saturation level of 90 or below and diagnosed with an underlying pneumonia. The charge nurse wanted to send her back home and 2am and pressured her to call a neighbour. In addition she was being discharged with oxygen which she was unfamiliar and did not feel comfortable with the discharge instructions. She should have been admitted. Abnormal labs, pneumonia, malnourished, in chronic pain from a recent injury which she was attempting to manage, poor mobility as a result, constipated and weak and borderline dehydrated. Ultimately she failed at home and a week later was admitted to the hospital. Their agenda is to get her out quickly as possible to a rehab facility which is reasonable however she is barely able to walk let alone be discharged to a rehab facility in 24 hours of her being admitted. Did I mention she has pulmonary embolisms. The bedsore was undocumented in the ER. She was not properly evaluated to have sent her home in the first place and clearly safety was never a concern by the staff. We as a family will look into her being transferred to a better facility. This is unacceptable practice by the nurses and doctors at Gila. An investigation will be required as this is a substandard level of care for any human being.

Have no intention of going back misdiagnosed way too many mistakes its like I got cheap knock of real medical care not good enough. Why even work if your not going to do things right. Your IT needs to stop contacting me I will file a no contact order.
