Easily the worst Safeway I’ve ever been to. Seeing as this is a tourist Mecca, they should be more on their game.nnStopped in around 7 pm and everything was SHUT DOWN. No deli, no seafood, no bakery, no Starbucks. Seemed very odd given the store is open until 11 pm. Several angry customers at the seafood department. Seafood is on display. Employees present. But they would not sell you seafood. English was the second language of ALL the employees in these departments which I think further created frustrations with the customers. Employee standing in the deli had air pods in and was on his phone. Where is management?nnDuring self checkout, poor cashier had to go to a regular cash register to start checking out the line, which then caused a back up in the self checkouts. It was not her fault, and she was apologetic, but the blame falls on management. A very poorly run store. And this is why I MUCH prefer the Kroger brand grocers or even Albertsons!

Only 1 lane open this morning, 10 people in line lady at customer (really?) Service just watched. Could have opened self check out instead and got everyone checked out way faster

The fresh guacamole is the best I’ve ever had. I need the recipe! It seems like everything prepared in store is very fresh and delicious.

I was allowed to park on the edge of the parking lot along with another truck.nThere's snow piled up and they do a good job of keeping the parking on clean.nnThe inside of the store is clean. They do have trout and Dave's good seed bread and other nice things...nnBut they charged me 25 cents for every cheesy plastic bag I use. Come on...
