Due to Covid the small shops were closed BUT the overall atmosphere was very nice. They even had a reproduction of an 1870 log cabin donated by Ron Howard (producer and star) that was used in a movie. It was on the site of the original cabin that Billy the Kid lived with his mom and brothers. Walk the downtown and feel the history.

Enjoyed the exhibits the artifacts and the hands on section of this stone bowl full of sand with wood handles hanging on the side where you can use these to create images of a few footprints in the sand. The bigest highpoint is Billy The Kid's Cabin.
