Currently closed for winter but during summer it is a nice area for camping with random designated camping spots. Small store that sells essentials and showers. During winter the lake freezes and provides an extended area for the snow hikers and snowmobiles. On a clear night you will see more stars here than you ever have in your entire life. I woke up at 3 am only to have my breath taken away by the site. Also you will hear more coyotes yelping (far off in the distance) than you have might have heard. No cell signal here but Silverton is a 5 minute drive away if you need to take care of some phone business (Coffee bear is a good coffee/internet cafe). If you're looking for a simple place to chill, book this place for a few days. Worth it. Very affordable.

Great snowmobiling area. Minimal facilities in the winter. Groomed trails and a porta potty. Not crowded, excellent views.

Loved this place! We needed a place before dark, and the camping spots were perfectly spaced so you didn't feel like you were camping too close. Pit toilets were clean, you just need to supply your own toilet paper. Showers are $5. They have paddle boards & kayaks for rental too. Recommend this place.

We made it in at dark (our fault) but was able to find our campsite just fine. The views are the best part of this site (especially lake view which are most expensive). The hosts made a small phone charging station which is generous. Definitely going back - cold, crisp and lovely!

Heading up Million Dollar Highway stopped off at this campground. Some stunning views across the lake if you get the right spot. Showers are $5 for 4 mins. The hosts are very welcoming and gave us a roll of toilet paper on our arrival!
