I have been dining with ChoLon downtown since the beginning. Decided to try the new location in Central Park. The experience used to be so decadent and impressive. As of this most recent visit, the food was so very underwhelming and disappointing. The flavors are just dull and not impressive like they used to be. Take your money elsewhere if you’re looking to be wowed with fusion of flavors, you will not get it here. It’s too bad, but I think my ChoLon days are over.nnThe service however, was great. Host and server were both warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service.
Such a new twist on modern Asian cuisine!nEvery plate was delicious. Believe me, we tried as many as possible. Ian the manager is the best. He is very knowledgeable and a delight to chat with.
Wonderful, creative, delicious take on Asian food! We had a handful of items and they were all so good! Go for happy hour and work your way through the menu...but always order the soup dumplings!!!!
Hands down one of the BEST dining experiences I've ever had. The food was outstanding, the service (management, bartending, and servers) were all knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. A bit expensive but absolutely worth every penny spent.
Amazing food. Service second to none. Appetizers are 4 out of 5. Stir Fry is 5 out of 5. Beef ribs are 3 out of 5. Pork ribs are 2 out 5. But the appetizers and stir fry is second to none. Top 5 all time meals.
