This place is always great. There are lots of climbing routes -- top rope, lead climbing, bouldering, you name it. They also have workout machines, treadmills, stair masters, free weights. Not to mention their variety of classes including different types of yoga; you can pick whether to join a power class or Sunday wind down. The place is always clean. The staff is AWESOME. I can't really say enough about it.

If you have kids, make sure you call ahead to check whether there is a birthday party when you are going to be there. We spent $120 only to find out the kids’ area was roped off for a party. Same price for a lot less climbing. In hindsight we should have asked for a refund and left. Bummer.nnOtherwise, the facility is nice and clean.

Great facility with lots of route variety. Routes are reset every few weeks other than some of the fan favorites that tend to stick around a little longer. The staff members are super friendly and helpful. To some dude below who left a bad review saying there were kids running around: This is normal in climbing gyms. They tend to be pretty inclusive places but if you go later at night you'll see less. In my experience, the staff are quick to step in if any unsafe activity is occurring.

I visited Ubergrippen today, and it was my first time climbing. I thought that staff was kinda rude and not very helpful. The place was filled with kids running around and screaming, while their parents sat around and not paying any attention to their kids. I seen some kids trying to climb routes that people were already half way up the wall on. Very dangerous if you ask me, but what do I know it was my first time climbing. The routes were also not clearly marked. Other than those few things I had a good time and thought the place was pretty clean. Would think twice about coming back again.

My wife and I have been members for a few months and have been pleased with our experience. I have climbed at most of the gyms in the Denver-Boulder area and think Ubergrippen is one of the best. Everyone who works there is friendly. One even helped me with a beta that I was struggling with in the bouldering section! We have never used a Gri-Gri and one of the staff members kindly showed us how to use the device. The bouldering section is smaller but packs a good variety of problems into the space. There is a space with workout equipment which is a cool addition. And of course all of the sport climbing is the best part. There are so many routes and they are constantly being reset. I do not consider myself a superb sport climber and still find tons of routes that accommodate my skill level. I'm excited to continue supporting this local business!
