Relaxing... quite... lots of birds too..ud83dude01
This is a 4 mile easy level hike, just south of San Carlos airport. Big parking lot is available at the trailhead. It’s very good for bird watching. Two viewing platforms are present at the trail ends to overlook the slough. Small airplanes can be seen landing and taking off from San Carlos airport.
Minus the folks who insist on bringing their dogs to this bird refuge, we thoroughly enjoy our time here!
Great place for a walk. View of the bay. So much cleaner (and safer for wild birds) since dogs are not allowed anymore. Love this place
Long hike on flat land with some spectacular views. Can't believe it took me so long to find it. Beautiful place for fresh air, beautiful scenery, and more birds than you can count.
