The garden was amazing! Lots of cool things to see. There are some amazing photo opportunities! I would say it is a bit small. You could walk the whole thing in 15 or 20 minutes. The map definitely makes it look bigger than it is. Especially, with the price of admissions and the surrounding area made me think it was going to be bigger. Still worth the time and money. The space they do have is definitely well used.

This is a must in Golden Gate Park! Beautiful, relaxing, awesome scenery and a great experience my first time going. My fiance and I got there early and it wasn't too busy. The visitors were very generous if you're taking pictures so you can get some epic shots! My only regret is not staying longer. The shop and cafe were beautiful as well. Don't worry about the admission. It was 12$ per person for adult and I believe a dollar or two more if you're not a resident of SF. Money well spent!nnAlso the cherry blossom trees were in full bloom ud83dude01

Been here about 3 or 4 times...mostly to see if ANYTHING has changed from last visit. Tranquil...yes! Quiet...for most part yes. Depends upon visitors. Much to see...uh...absolutely not! Short/quick tour. Nice, well kept, but not much too wander through and see.

I've always enjoyed coming here. It's beautiful and serene. There's a small cafe where you can buy snacks and tea, there's a beautiful gift shop, and they have clean bathrooms. It's definitely one of the highlights of Golden Gate Park. There are countless unique photo opportunities whether you're a serious photographer or just an Instagram enthusiast.

Serenity and piece are the 2 common things one might experience here. Parking might be a challenge during weekends.
