These iconic row-homes sit directly across the street from Alamo Square Park and were some of the few things left standing after the fire of 1906.nAnd they were the location of the T.V. Series Full House and the movie Mrs. Doubtfire.nnIf you’re driving, you may have to look carefully for a spot. But you just might be able to hop out of your car just long enough to take some amazing photos!nnThere are some phenomenal panoramic views of the amazing city of San Francisco from the area too.nnThere are some area-restrictions on tour-buses and large vans.

Best time to visit is late in the afternoon when the sun bathes the painted ladies in its golden light. By this time, the crowds have died down. Pro-tip: grab your favorite coffee beverage at Ritual Coffee down in Hayes Valley and walk ten minutes up the hill to the Painted Ladies where you can you can sit down on the grass across the street at Alamo Square and enjoy one the best views of SF as the sun goes down.
