As busy as this store is, I always can find a parking spot in their adjacent lot. Always a great selection. Always excellent quality.
Great local market with excellent produce and meats/fish. Pricey but everything is higher quality. Made-to-order sandwiches are great. Customer service above par.
Great simple food! But some of the workers need to work on their customer service skills. I wasn't happy about that.
High quality and high prices. Great butcher/fishmonger depts. Sadly, 2020 has brought a new handicap. The store is small for all its breadth of offerings. Aisles are very narrow. My advice is to avoid during busiest hours, when you would find yourself pressed up against other (universally masked) shoppers. Not so worrying now, as SF shows relatively low levels of infection, but something to consider when infections spike due to holiday gatherings.
Wow, the store layout was refreshed recently, and there are so many to-go options when your inner chef is lazy or you need a jump start for your meals. They pack all the basics in and provide a bountiful array of specialty items, including an entire selection of British food and teas!
