I went in to get a ski boot punched out and Max in the ski department was really helpful. He’s the real deal and knows his stuff. And now after a few ski tours I have some happy feet. But I’ve also been in there for rentals and to get other little odds and ends and all the staff I’ve met there are knowledgeable, friendly, and really helped out with whatever I needed. You can get outdoor gear from a lot of places but I like getting mine at this rei cause of the people that work there.

A great membership program that offers dividends (think rebate) at the end of the year based on your purchases. Even better if you have their no annual fee credit card! I love their selection, helpful & friendly staff, regular sales, outlet offerings and long history of giving back. Lastly, their curbside pickup is so convenient that I hope it remains even after the pandemic is over.

Extremely helpful staff (shout out to Richard). We want to get into backpacking more and he showed us the difference in sleeping bags, backpacks, recommended gear, etc. All right at closing time and he didn't try to break away. He talked about his experiences and gave us all the information to get started.nnThe store is massive and the parking is suitable if going at night. You do not need to park on the street. It is available behind the building. I look forward to shopping here again.

Customer service needs some work.n1st) Person that greeted me at the door straight stereotype me. Made me instantly sanitze my hands. 2 other customers after me he didn't do that? Maybe because I'm Asian? Not right at all.n2) Return Department - I was the only one in line. Standing there for 2min. She sees me, turns around and stares at a piece of paper, turns around 15 sec later and then helps me out?nThen rejects me and sends me to the cashier.nnOther than that everything was great. Lady (clothing department) on the phone was very polite and helpful, placed my items on hold and cashier's up front were very polite.
