Well so far the service is terrible. This is my 3rd try to get reservations , it's always NOPE.. Today I was told I could park my RV in a tent spot , however I could not use generator ? I checked for next weekend , again a very rude NOPE .nIf the service was more polite , I might give this another try , it's local for us and it made sense , however ,I would rather drive to Napa, 1000 Trails . We stayed there last weekend. The service was exceptional, very welcomingnAgain today I try 3/23 , met with rude attitudes and entirely unhelpful. This is what happens when dealing with ANY County run park or official, they can't get fired or repremanded , they know this and therefore are disrespectful and rude

Campsite was unexpectedly closed due to extreme fire risk, but staff were great and very helpful. So we never actually stayed there but staff was helpful with alternatives. Will try again next time.
Beautiful view, large campground, nice wild animals in the park and I love the Gumtrees. Showers could better no thermostat and not clean. Price is fine, 30 dollar without full hookup. In reach of San Francisco 11 dollar return ticket with BART from Castro valley.
One of the nicest campgrounds close to the city. Although you will never completely escape the city lights here it is very quiet and peaceful. The last few campgrounds at the end of the road have an awesome view of lake chabot.
