This antique carousel is a truly special feature of the cultural landscape of San Francisco. Nestled in the children's section of Golden Gate Park, it is perfectly located for young people to enjoy and get a small taste of history. However, the building it is housed in could use some maintenance.
Super big track with max speeds for the Carousel at 40-45mph. The track was pretty nicely designed - 2 straight stretches, a couple of sharp bends and then some wide turns for a nice bit of coasting.nnGreat for team events - we had a real blast!

It's the largest carousel I've ever seen. And it's going round for both, little children and adults ones :)nThe carousel is located in a glasshouse thus providing shelter against the constantly blowing wind.nAlso a plus is a little kiosk nearby with coffee and snacks selling. A nice fun for the whole family in the heart of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Park :)
