This place is kinda popular for the cheap price. It is run by the state of California and you can not expect extras. They have the rule of capacity of 50 people which means you can spend a couple of hours waiting in line before you get soaked. The place needs to be remodeled. It would be a great thing if they made SEVERAL hot water pools since mostly people use the hot water pool. A small affordable restaurant would be a big plus.nThe best time to visit - any winter morning. Since they change water once a week on Wednesday, the Thursday morning is the best.nNice scenery around. Great place for hiking. Don't forget to respect other people and behave properly.
The signs say Grover hot spring the pamphlet say Grover hot springs so I am unsure what the name would be since it came up under this.nnWhat a nice place to detour to.nnOne large hot spring pool outside in the open another fresh water pool next to it.nn$10 each person gets you a day pass come and go as you please till close dont forget to get a stamp.nnHiking all around, but we had plans that would keep is from going hiking.nnThe water wasn't that hot, but it sure was clean and well kept up.nnAgain a nice detour for anyone who digs hot spring.nnWe would return.
The hot spring is between 100 and 104 degrees when we were there or was it a hundred for the whole time it's very relaxing and soothing beautiful scenery enjoyable
Been going here for 30 years. It was much better before every God damn tourist in the world had GPS maps! Geez
Decent pool, cheap entry but not as good as the others in the area
