Been going here for 47 years now with a group of friends from high school. Beautiful river and if you hike down river about 1/4 mi there’s a huge meadow to camp. A bit further a granite water slide that is so fun! A little further pools to swim or fish in. Never a dull moment!nThis place is a true gem!

Been going here for years used to be beautiful and amazing just left and very disappointed. There were people on top of people camping and trashing the place. Garbage was left everywhere along the river. I can’t believe people are trashing what was once such a beautiful getaway.

I love this place for me is my favorite place for camping with kids. But last year in 2019 we had 2 bears every night for three days in a row. It was a little bit of scary. Never leave your food out they will brake your ice chest looking for food. They broke mine..lol so leave it in your car at night. The rivers is very safe and perfect temperature to jump in. Hiking up the hill is awesome with gorgeous views for pictures, it takes your breath away. No showers, no electricity, no wifi service, sometimes no cell phones reception. But camping it's all about relaxing away from all those things including social media. ud83dude02ud83dude00

Great camping sites close to the river. A little tricky for some to get a RV in. Sites are fairly private, and no hookups or dump site, only water faucets spaced throughout the campsite and vault toilets. You can fish in the river or take a short drive to Alpine, Spicer, Utica or Union Reservoir. We have been camping here for years and have always had a great time.
