Perfect little place away from everything. Less crowded, good temperatures day and night. Nice shade, great rock hopping creek with lots of small waterfalls super close.

Clean and beautiful.

Spent couple nights over the weekend here and had a great time. Only about a third full so real quiet. The North Ford Mokelumne River runs along the western edge. Vault toilets were decent enough and there is a well water pump available for use. This campground is about 20 minutes away from the Highland Lakes/ Campground. That campground seemed very packed so this was a great alternative but do visit the lakes.

Nice for a typical campground. I prefer camping out of campgrounds. You can't have a fire in dispersed camping right now. The fire danger is rising, so check the forestry alerts daily.

Was there a week and a half ago. Great late summer; perfect spot... Anybody catch a fish? Highland Lake is another 5 mi up the rd. All good.
