I love this place....i have been camping at silver lake when it was ran by PGand E over 50 years...and boy has it changed ......the public has almost destroyed this place...its to bad...

Too many people. Lots of garbage:(
We had a great kayak trip to Silver Lake, the campground hosts are very helpful and the sites are spacious and we enjoyed the sun and shade. However, the bathrooms are terrible! They were not cleaned well , just TP was replenished.. The awful ammonia smell made it almost impossible to breathe. I hope this can be remedied before our next visit!nThank you!!
