Silvertip Campground

I didn't want to leave a review so that people wouldn't know and it would be too busy but it wouldn't be right. This place is amazing. The camp hosts are super pleasant and informative. I have never seen so many stars and seen them so bright! Wow!

Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Campground host, Dennis, is fantastic - friendly, attentive, and keeps the facilities nice and clean. Bears are quite active in the area and sites do NOT have bear boxes, so come prepared to leave cooler and dry foods (in a closed container) in your car. If you're tent camping, site #1 and #15+ have more level ground than others.

Wonderful Campground. Quiet family atmosphere, friendly and helpful host. Facilities are clean and in perfect condition. Strongly recommended

Beautiful setting, sites are spacious (at least for tent camping) only down side was the hike to the toilets was pretty far.

Nice quiet campground away from the crowds at the lake. Hosts were very friendly, informative and kept the facilities clean. One can either walk about 15-20min to the lake or drive out there in about 5 minutes. Coin operated Showers and Laundromat located at Lake Alpine lodge. Only downside was it was closer to the road than expected.
