We loved it, even though the water was down and the temperature was low, the surrounding area is beautiful, plus we caught fish and released them to get bigger plus make more fish for the future.

Clean quiet campsite. Beautiful! The water level this year was WAY down PG&E doing workat Upper Blue Lake campground meant they had to empty the lake. Still enough to get some kayaking in. First come first serve site so better get there early! And I mean like on a Thursday morning for a spot for three weekend. 10/10 will be back next year!

We drove all the way up into the Hope valley and found this gem. Its serene and beautiful with a small blue lake ideal for fishing and camping.
