This is not the Chilli John's it used to be. We ordered delivery today and the chili had a terrible burnt taste and we couldn't eat it. Its too bad as this used to be the best.

Disappointed with the new location/ownership (note: Google still says Military Ave - but it's Packerland Drive now). It's a hike now, and the menu is EXTREMELY scaled back, so I couldn't get what I planned on because it was off the menu. Pretty much just a drive out beyond the edge of town for a bowl of chili. Not really worth the effort unless you've got a major craving specifically for it. Bonus points for the server, though, that found a can of Diet Coke for me. Not a fan of Pepsi products.

The food is pretty good. I usually just order the chili, garlic bread, and sometimes nachos. I’d say it’s a little pricey for the portions you get and that’s the only reason I’m not giving Chili John’s five stars. All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant as I’ve always had a good experience!

Stopped at the new Chili Johns location today and ended up thoroughly dissatisfied. My history with this place goes back 60 years when they were still located on Pine Street in downtown. I was very surprised today to find out from the chili takeout that when ordering a quart size with no spaghetti, the container is only half full and the price is $15.99. This is a horrible price!! This is not how it used to be years ago. I will not be back and will take my money elsewhere.

Very disappointed! Got our food to go and the chili was very dark and mushy, the container had mostly noodles barely any meat and beans. We couldnt even eat it all, definitely not the chili we remember at the old location! Not to mention the price was way too much for what we got.
