There is a great climbing structure for kids and lots of fun places to explore, including a rocky path that brings you out into the water. We saw swans and other birds, and other than being very breezy it was a relaxing trip.

Been going here since i was a little boy. My little boy loves this park. Playground is awesome and never crowded.
This is a beautiful spot very close to the city. It's usually very easy to park here and walk along the marshy/rocky coast with It's mini arboretum adjacent to a playground.nnLots of beautiful views of Patuxent Village Harbor and across to the east bay.nnThe park has a jetty/path that extends out to two barrier islands which seem to draw a lot of people fishing and there's also lots of birds that nest in the area. Tons of swans in particular.nnGreat spot to easily get to the oceanside for a hike or just to get outdoors in a beautiful spot. Not a beach/no swimming.
