Ahhh... I had their Pad Thai in house and it was good, take out was like soup. When they opened several years ago the food was great! Now I call it last choice Chinese if I need something quick while working from home. I had recommended them in the past but can't any longer since they raised their prices and vastly lowed the quality of their food.
I ordered 2 beef teriyaki combos tonight. And the guy repeated the order back to me. My bf got home opened the bag and I received 1 combo. Not very happy. We live in a different city so it’s not like we can go back and get the other combo. So now I have to go without supper tonight. Very disappointing.
This is my back-up place.nnPros: Dishes with veggies are usually very fresh, beef dishes are tender, and portions are generous, sauces are not heavy.nnCons: All noodle dishes, egg rolls are not made fresh, Beef Teriyaki portions are scant, and it is usually very dry, very pricy and they charge a delivery fee that does not go to the driver.nnIf prices were 20% less, it would be a 5 star place, however they have serious competition for what they charge just down the road, and it seems I am not the only one seeing this recently.nnAll in all, a good back-up plan if your ordering on a day the best Chinese food places are closed. Nothing at China Inn is bad, it is just not a great value.
I have been ordering from them for years. Best Hot and Sour soup around. Lately I have noticed the quality is not the same, the boneless spare ribs are almost inedible at times because they are so rubbery. Sometimes the rice is very dry as well. Hope they get a new chef very soon.
