I started the sports performance training program in November as I am college athlete wanted to continue lifting and to stay in shape for my school break. I trained here for the last 4 months there and worked with all the trainers! All of the trainers and staff are so friendly and always there to help if you need help doing a certain exercise, or just wanting to get to know you better! Within the last 4 months training with them for my spring season, I can confidently say I am the strongest I have ever been and cannot wait to come back from school and work with them again to keep getting stronger!

After a knee injury and complex surgery, I was not sure that I could ever return to my active lifestyle. I was referred to Olympia Fitness and immediately felt myself getting physically and mentally stronger everyday.nEach trainer at Olympia is incredible in addition to Amanda, the physical therapist. They are the most understanding, knowledgable individuals that make every session enjoyable.nI feel stronger, pain free, and overall more confident in myself because of Olympia. This is by far the best gym in all of Rhode Island, and I would recommend it to EVERYONE no matter their age, skill, or experience.

My program from Maura is really starting to show! I went hiking with my husband this weekend and left him in the dust! I can't say enough great things about Olympia. From the general positive, welcoming atmosphere to the commitment and dedication of their employees' investments in their clients. I will continue to recommend Olympia for personal training.

After dealing with several injuries, I wasn't sure what my workouts would look like again. Not only was I dealing with physical pain, but the mental component of not being able to workout at the level I was used to, was very difficult. I did physical therapy, and was finally at a place where I wasn't in constant pain and was cleared to workout again. I didn't know how to get myself back in shape in a way that was safe and effective, so I began to search different gyms. While pretty much every gym offered personal training, I was looking for something specific to my needs where I would be coached by high-level professionals in a safe environment. I stumbled across Olympia online and booked a consultation.nnMy consultation included a meeting of myself, a personal trainer (CSCS) and a physical therapist. We discussed my injuries at length and they also evaluated me physically. From there I worked with my amazing coach, Maura, twice a week on a customized program that was designed by both her and the PT, Amanda. Maura was incredibly attentive and made modifications when necessary. She was so tuned into my form, that just having Maura tweak a single movement had a significant impact on my workout and overall progress.nnI feel incredible, I'm pain free, and I'm able to increase the intensity of my workouts and not limit myself. I am so grateful to the amazing staff at Olympia, and even the other members. I was warmly welcomed by everyone and it's such a rare facility. I'm SO grateful for the level of education and expertise the staff has, as well as their warm and inviting culture. Love this place!

Having bounced around different gyms looking for the right fit, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. Steve has built a superior training facility with top notch trainers.nnThe word ‘functional’ in training is overused by gyms; many preaching the usefulness of kipping handstands. What a joke. Never once needed to kip anything. Functional training at Olympia is what the words were intended to mean. Not only have I stopped getting injured since starting at Olympia, the weaknesses causing my injuries have all been addressed, and I’m happy to report that I’m stronger than ever with ZERO injuries.nnTHANK YOU Steve for maintaining high standards in your trainers, and Thank You Maura for leading me to Olympia.
