I purchased my car about a month ago. They put 5 hard inquiries on my account without my permission. I confirmed with Salem that only one inquiry would be done despite them sending it off to multiple financial institutions. He said yes only one with the utmost confidence. I never would have agreed to the inquiries if I had known. Vanessa was the finance manager and she said “well this is not Salem’s department.” If it isn’t his department, he should have deferred to Vanessa or gone to her for verification of my question. I feel completely taken advantage of from this dealership. It went from being a 5 star review to 1 star because this has directly affected my life. I went from zero inquiries to five. I reached out several times to get help with having these removed but after multiple calls and emails, it took two weeks for someone to get back to me. He called while I was at work, and so I called him back and it’s been a week since I made that phone call. I was waiting to hear back from someone to leave my review and see if there can be a resolution to my situation. I have waited long enough.

Beware of DANNY RODRIGUEZ !!!!nHere is my experience on Friday 07.17.2020 ; I walked into Cambridge Honda, and was warmly greeted by Salem, the salesperson ,who took great care of me and was very patient. Fast forward, I felt comfortable so I committed to buying the car.nAfter waiting over an hour for the finance manager, I finally met Danny Rodriguez, the finance guy. Danny didn’t have any problem pushing his different products for 30 minutes trying to up-sell me. Not only did he keep pushing, but he also kept telling me that the car will break and I’ll be paying out of pocket double the amount. When I rejected his products, he laughed and said: No problem, you’ll be paying thousands in servicen(Mind you that I was buying a brand new Honda!!). After that he was just silently printing all the paperwork and only pointing where I should sign; no explanation for the contracts. He didn’t go over my payments, rate...etc. This is the info that a buyer would like to see and learn more about. Five minutes after signing everything he said: you’re good to go and gave me some paperwork!!nWhen I questioned why he didn’t go over the contract with me and explain the manufacturer warranty.. etc.., he began yelling that he did and that he has to go home because his wife is waiting for him! He didn’t have a problem pushing me to buy the extras for 30 min, but when it came to the real deal he used the excuse that we were after business hours! Anyway, I was there alone with him in his office, and I felt really scared after seeing his anger escalating. He was verbally harsh and very angry. He actually told me to ‘get out’! At that point I felt that I’d been attacked for no reason and that he’ was humiliating me. I actually cried because I felt so frustrated that he was treating me so horribly and unjustly.nSo I decided to cancel everything. I felt more comfortable when I noticed that Salem was still around and that I wasn’t alone at the dealership with this dangerous man. Danny wouldn’t apologize for his aggressive actions, until I said I wasn’t going anywhere until he cancelled everything and gave me a refund. He refused saying that there was nothing he could do at that time. BTW, I have a recording for this. Yes I felt so scared that I felt that I have to record what’s happening. Danny is a very unprofessional and angry person and I’m sharing my experience because I hate to see any other person go through what I went through. When you’re buying a new car and paying over $30k, you shouldn’t be treated like this. I didn’t deserve that treatment and definitely didn’t deserve to go home crying!! I will also take my recording and report him to Honda corporate!nAfter reading this, We’ll see if any of this company’s executive managers will reach out or care about what happened to me in Cambridge Honda.

In from out of town. Had to have some work done. Joe was our service advisor. He helped us get the work done through our warranty quickly and painlessly. Would definitely go back if we needed anything from Honda in this area again.

I hate writing bad reviews, but the last three times I’ve had my car serviced here have been a disaster. This time, I went in for 130K miles maintenance before a long car trip. My car was inspected the week before and passed without any recommendations, but I take care of my stuff and wanted to make sure my little vehicle was ready for the long ride. After dropping off the car, I was told almost two hours later that it needed ~$600 worth of brake work on top of the over $400 tune-up, which was fine, but after the repair was done the car had two indicator lights on that weren’t there before. I was unable to speak to anyone at the shop, but one of the salespeople said that the car would be fine to drive. The next morning, once I was finally able to get in touch with the shop, I was told that I needed another new part—something that should have been addressed before the car left the lot, especially when the customer indicated they were on a tight schedule due to work and travel. Also the next day, the hatchback wouldn’t open (despite the latch being replaced last year at a different shop).nnThis would be a fluke, except it wasn’t the only time this service center has stiffed me. The last round, I went in for a dead battery and left with a detached interior rear view mirror. The time before that, which was also for regular maintenance, I had a dead battery the very next day. To top it off, one of the receptionists is rude, and trust: I have always had a public-facing job and am no Karen. I’ve also stood at the desk while someone sat in the manager’s office ten feet away eating a sandwich and pretending that a customer wasn’t present. I really wanted to like this place, especially since the service desk workers are generally pleasant, but they’ve made a fool of me three times over, and I won’t be back.
