absolutely mythical was quite an experience to be at this place. there is construction going on nearby at the time of this posting. the road heading towards tunnel has no cellphone service but oddly at the tunnel there was service? a part of the gravel road heading towards tunnel was submerged in water but was drivable. the few miles leading up to the tunnel is mostly gravel one car traffic road. this place is incredible. there are rustic houses heading towards this area. also an iron furnace a few miles away worth checking out. the bridge heading towards the tunnel has numerous locks on the fence. will visit again in future.

Very interesting. Worth the trip. Can be muddy in tunnel. Please don't put locks on the fence. That's not what it is for. If you see someone doing this tell them to stop. Look for remnants of town cemetery. Read up on the legends before your visit. Improvements be are in progress. Be patient and plan a return visit.

Cool spot to visit. Only about a 1/4 mile walk from parking. We took a few pictures and walked to the bride that was out about 1/2 mile beyond the tunnel. Good pictures to be had and it looks like there are a few trails off of the rail trial that we will explore next time we are there.

Not much there, cool tunnel though! Interesting place to visit. History is all that really remains... it's a pretty boring place to visit! Nothing there except the tunnel and nothing else... pretty lame but ok..

This tunnel is worth the drive! The brickwork is beautiful and the drive is very scenic. I usually don't like graffiti, but the graffiti in this tunnel adds a note of artistry and color to the location. Unfortunately, I did not encounter any spirits. Maybe next time!
