If you're looking for a beautiful piece of ohio this is the place. My wife grew up going here when she was a kid to teenager so we decided to take our kids here. The trails are clearly marked out so you don't get lost. I suggest you wear some hiking boots here because if it rains, the rock steps can get slippery and the trail can have some mud built up. I recommend this to tourist.

The winter views are 5-star, espefially the 5' icicles. But in winter, the trails are very very icy. On the Old Man Cave trail fairly close to the start of the trail, there is a bridge over the creek that has no hand rails, covered in ice and therefore impassable (even with ice spikes). It's more artistic than functional. If it just had hand rails, it would be safe enough to cross. We were really bummed, hence 4-stars.nnWe opted to hike to the dam at Rose Lake which was fine & fun for our 9 & 6 yr old adventurers.nnPublic restrooms and vending still open in early February at the visitor center.
