My favorite grocery store. However, since the legal battle a few years ago, they have increased their prices. Probably needed to pay off the lawyers. I hope they can go back to the good prices they had before. Right now they are at the same or even a bit more on some items as other stores. So where's the bargain? Remember the half price day old bakery items? No more!

Switched to paper bags kind of annoying. Some of their stores use paper some use plastic don't know what to expect.

Been shopping at this Market Basket ever since I moved to the area some years ago. This is one of the larger supermarkets so there is a wider variety and selection of goods to choose from. The store tends to be well-stocked, clean and orderly. It's also roomy enough to not feel as congested on regular days but it can get busy on other days especially close to holidays. There's a mini-mart style section for some freshly prepared foods which also includes fresh sushi, sandwiches, soups, etc. You can also find a limited selection of international foods such as Asian and Hispanic in a different aisle. Customer service is decent enough overall. MB used to offer 2% discounts a few years ago which made them very competitive but following the legal battle between the owners, this was eventually eliminated. There are some noticeable price increases these days but many items still more reasonably priced when compared to Stop & Shop, Shaws, and Whole Foods for instance. Overall, this is my preferred local grocery store.

I went between 6 am & 7 am, thinking seniors and disabled were just going. I am disabled. They had young body abled people shopping also. Didn't feel comfortable. Will go to another Market Basket. Originally love all Market Baskets, and I need to feel safe.
