I had a total of three new keys made for our house. All three of them work OK, but once you push them all the way into the lock, you must withdraw them approximately a 16th of an inch for it to turn the deadbolt freely. Other than that they work fine.
Easy. Used menards kiosk. Took a few minutes. 3rd key free.
It was my first time using the machine. A store associate helped me and I found it very efficient and easy to follow the instructions. I liked that I could get two keys (and that bonus FREE one was a super plus!) completed at the same time. I had spent $5 for a key at Walmart and though it was an identical key to my key, it did not fit my lock. From now on, I’ll look for/use KeyMe! Thanks!
I have used the kiosk several times and have had no problems.
The keys were uncommon cuts, so it took longer to receive, but they let me know as soon as the delivery time was extended. I would definitely use them again.
