This past summer I decided to have a Generac standby generator installed at home. I am a meticulous person with a background in commercial construction. As a professional and a homeowner I have seen the work of both good and bad tradesmen, so I was very concerned about the standard of work the electrical contractor Generac recommended would perform. Larry Light, the owner of Light Electric and the installer of the generator exceeded my expectations on multiple levels. From the delivery of the generator to the test start up, Larry was available by phone to answer questions and plan visits to perform various steps in the installation process. His coordination with the subcontractors who poured the concrete slab needed to support the generator, and the propane company that provided the tank and fuel was excellent. As a result, all deadlines were met on time. This level of professionalism and efficiency is a rarity in a world where the majority of contractors start a job then fail to follow through on meeting deadlines and responding to homeowner phone calls. Lastly, the job site, both indoors and out, was left spotless. It was as if the generator had been there all along.nI am a harsh critic who does not give praise easily. But in this case I can say without reservation or exaggeration that Larry's work was outstanding. Furthermore, he is a pleasant and positive person who is easy to talk to. What more can a homeowner ask for?

When signing our contract I requested that they call ahead of time because of our dog who does not really like strangers coming up on our property. They called and left a message the night before to say that they were coming the following day, and then again called in the morning to confirm with us, and give us a time that they would arrive. He (Mario) arrived exactly when he said and went right to work.nVERY PROFESSIONAL !!!!!

Larry is was a true professional and handled everything from installation, permits, and coordinating the propane installation. Having just weathered an outage where we would typically be watching the weather and crossing our fingers we sat in 100% comfort and the generator performed flawlessly.
