Twilight on the Erie RV Resort

Beautiful sites, spread out. Nice trails, playground, big county park next door. Walking/biking path along the canal. This place is awesome! We had a great time, and Barb and Red are wonderful and very helpful.

Just got home from our first trip to Twilight on the Erie. Nice, clean campground. Barb & Red are very attentive hosts and take pride in their facility. Our campsite was very level and roomy with super easy hook up access. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed at Twilight on the Erie in the Summer of 2018 for 10 weeks. There is a train that parallels the canal and you will hear it, however, with the fan in our camper on at night it was really a non-issue for us. The 3 mph speed limit may be an issue for some, I didn’t personally find it difficult to maintain that speed going in and out of the park. The park was clean, quiet and staff were friendly. The seasonal campers that were adjacent to our site that we met were friendly and quiet. A big convenience for me was that I was able refill my propane right on site. The owners, Barb and Red were friendly and even gave us local food recommendations. Part way through our stay our hot water heater gave out. Barb provided the name of a local RV repair company. They sent a person out within a day or two and fixed the issue at a very reasonable price. Everyone in the nearby town of Macedon were friendly and welcoming as well. My wife and I are not from that area and appreciated how helpful and kind everyone was. We just booked another month for 2020. We’re looking forward to staying again.

This Saturday it will be one week we are here but we are here until October. We do not know Barb or Red BUT they have been so pleasant and very friendly, never a bad moment or word from their mouth. She even was still very polite when we got here at around 10:30 PM. We were coming up from Florida and it was a terrible ride on that nasty I-81, never will l use that road again. So it was very satisfying to be greeted with such pleasantry. Thank you again Barb and Red.

The campground is only 7 miles from our house so we decided to do a drive by. I am glad we did! You can't bring your own firewood, you have to buy it from them. They are worried about insects...not sure why, they have about 3 trees on the entire property! I can't imagine why anyone would want a permanent site in this place! It would be like camping in a field.
