Plato's Closet

Had a horrible experience at this store! I called ahead of time to ask what time the store closes (on a Sunday) because timings online have been inaccurate for many businesses since the pandemic. I was told on the phone they close at 9pm. I made special childcare arrangements just so I could go to the store to sell a bunch of clothes and accessories. I live 25 minutes away and spent my time and gas driving to Plato's Closest only to get there to have the store employee tell me they close at 6pm and they can not go through my stuff and buy anything right now. I explained what happened and they said the best they can do is go through 1 bag out of 7-8 bags I had. They didn't want to stay a few minutes late and accommodate and were overall rude and not understanding at all. Horrible customer service, go to Trader K's instead where they are always nice and respectful.

Clean and organized with a wide array of styles and sizes. One of the best consignment shops I've been to (and I only buy clothes on consignment lol).

I love the Ithaca Plato’s. The people who work there have never been anything but kind and helpful with me, including when I was pregnant and needed to use their restroom every 15 minutes while I was browsing... lol !nnThey have a great selection of clothes and styles. I don’t think I’ve ever visited to this store and *not* found something awesome. I’ve gotten so many cool pieces here, and they offer a variety of sizes. With my second child, I gained a lottttt of weight, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have XL choices that are extremely cute.nn10/10 recommend ! :)

I'm a commercial roofer I do repairs on Plato's Closet. I take it's a shop for ladies apparel. Always beautiful young ladies in the store about my grand daughters ages.

terrible experience. brought 4 large bags of a variety of new (with tags) and very lightly used clothing just to receive $10.15 for 3 items. i was told that the clothes i brought were “too worn and not teen clothes”. here i am 16 with only teen clothes. will NOT be going back. they don’t even deserve one star.
