This is the only orthodox synagogue in Astoria! People are very proud of traditions and welcome everybody to join regular services. Great place for holidays as well as Shabbat services.

I grew up going to this small modern orthodox synagogue in the 1980's and have amazing, warm memories of my childhood experiences there. Currently the congregation has people of all ages, including a small group of young Israelis in their twenties and thirties as well as local Jewish senior citizens and some families with kids. If you are in Astoria this is a fantastic place to meet the local Jews. There are Friday night meals that are advertised on the Facebook group, Jewish holiday parties and events. Definitely worth it to check it out. Don't be intimidated by the Orthodox label. Jews of all affiliations, or no affiliation, feel comfortable and welcome in this small, yet cute and friendly community.nZelig Krymko-Shmuelovich
