A historical site where Samuel Young, brother to Joseph Smith, the Prophet of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sold the first Book of Mormon to Phineus Young, a Methodist preacher, the younger brother of Brigham Young. Phineus Young purchased the Book of Mormon to read it and expose it's falsehoods. After reading it twice he found no errors of the doctrines of Jesus Christ that were taught in it. He gave the Book to his father, also a Methodist preacher. The whole young family was converted to the gospel as they each read the Book of Mormon. They stayed to to the faith until death. Brigham Young became one of the 12 Apostles of the Restoration, and the Lord's annointed Prophet after the martyrdom of the Prophet Joseph Smith.
