I love Torrid and so glad there is one closer to me finally. Nikki took such wonderful care of me. The staff is very attentive and helpful. If you are a plus-size queen, be sure to check out this store.

I love their clothing but I don't love that they don't hire women of color to work in their stores. I've been shopping at the Eastview Mall and Marketplace Mall locations for 4 years and have yet to ever see a Black salesgirl. That is really unfortunate they have such a lack of diversity in their workforce. I even applied to be a Keyholder at Victor but didn't even get a call for an interview despite having a BFA in fashion design and marketing and previous management experience at Macys and Lane Bryant. They were still hiring fir thenposition weeks later. That is just blatant discrimination and I probably shouldn't be supporting them at this point.nThis is 2021 and companies need to be inclusive and fair in their hiring practices.

I needed a nice shirt to wear to my fathers funeral so I purchased it from this store. I didn’t notice that the woman behind the counter was too careless to take the anti theft tag off until I got home and it was time to get ready. I had nothing to wear and no time to fix the situation and I had to go to my fathers funeral with a tag in the middle of my shirt. It was humiliating and uncomfortable. I looked like I shoplifted my outfit. I have spent so much money in this store and now I can barely stand to be in it.
