Lacey Magruder Vineyard & Winery

Had a fabulous time at Magruder's today. The owner spent a great deal of time with my Wife and I explaining his adventures creating their beautiful wines. I work in a winery on the Niagara Escarpment and was impressed so much with his expertise. We tasted his red flight - every single wine was exemplary! We left with many bottles to share with friends back home.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this winery. They had such a unique atmosphere. We had our tasting with the owner and she was very nice. They are not apart of the huge wine trail on Seneca lake so you aren't going to run into huge crowds and long waits. One of the great things about visiting these type of wineries that are off the beaten path is that they can recommended other wineries where you will have a similar experience. I had thought I was going to sample their all red option but I am glad I didn't as I ended up going home with a bottle of white.

The barn was beautiful, and so unique. It alone was worth the visit. On top of that the wine was delicious and the couple that run the winery were very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely would come back next time were here.

Eclectic tasting room and really good reds

What a wonderful place for an impromptu stop. Loved the ambiance, the hospitality and the barn. The wines are also very good! Cheers
