Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a pleasure to go there and get some great diving and snorkeling equipment. Also can learn how to dive here. They have a 15-ft swimming pool to learn in.

I had a dream about this place, I live right down the road from where it is (also have never been in it). But in my dream the place was very vibrant and aesthetic, the whole place smelt of a nostalgic chlorine pool. It felt like being back in the retro 90s with neon lights and vaporwave auras everywhere.nnHighly recommend.

I’ve been a customer at the AC of R for almost 20 years. I’ve purchased regulators, dive computers, exposure protection, durable gear & accessories and clothing items.nnI’ve attended them for top notch dive instruction. I’ve availed myself of side trips offered around our region that remind folks “yes, there’s cool places to dive close to home, too. it’s just not as warm.”nnI’ve used their pool to help friends prepare for skills demonstration to complete their dive master. checked out new gear. my daughter spent an afternoon zooming around on a scooter with what I remember as unlimited air fills. I’ve brought my gear for service time and again, making sure it’s life safety right and listening when Joe says “come back here and let me show you...”nnall along the way, Diane & Joe have just been great folks. Ambassadors of the undersea world. Mentors. Friends.nnRichester NY isn’t a destination on anyone’s dive map, but the Aquatics Center of Rochester is as good or better as any I’ve found at or near any dive destination. I’ve recommended them for years, and I’ll happily recommend them here.nnOH! and they have dogs ☺ufe0f

Although it’s almost been a year and a half since I was certified I still remember the learning experience, and how enjoyable it was. All the diving instructors took their time to teach me and answer any questions that I may have had. But instead of just having a dry and boring learning experience they made sure that it was fun and enjoyable I found my self looking forward to each class with anticipation for what I was going to learn next. In short I recommend this place for anybody that is looking to get there diving license or to rent or buy equipment and further more you can even book events from there to the place literally has it all.
