I have tried learning guitar several times in the past from friends as well as other instructors and it just never really stuck- the teaching style wasn’t right or I just didn’t have enough time. My experience with George has been completely different. George listened to exactly what I wanted to learn and is helping me get there in a way that makes sense, he’s very positive and encouraging. And I have come to understand that there is never a perfect time to pick up something new you’ve been wanting to learn, there is always going to be barriers, and George just keeps encouraging me even when I go through a practice drought due to life. Thanks George!

George is the absolute best! I took lessons from him for about 5 years and I loved it! He breaks music theory down and provides helpful worksheets to practice with. Teaches a plethora of styles and genres of music, if you're interested in something he makes sure to work with you on it and gives you helpful feedback on how to improve. If you're looking for a guitar instructor in Rochester, definitely take lessons with him, it was a great experience and I would 100% recommend!

I've been taking lessons with George for a year and love it. He approaches this from an adult learning perspective, so it goes at my pace and interest. He's so knowledgeable and can bridge my previous piano experience with the guitar. Couldn't be happier!

I’ve always learned instruments through school and it went fine but the learning was usually slow due to having so many students so there was really no time for one on one. With George, learning is so much more fun and simple. 10/10 Definitely recommend. (My only complaint is lack of snacks but it’s not a big issue)

My son is taking guitar lessons at this school and he is enjoying it a lot. The fact that these are personalized classes allows him to go at his own pace and motivates him to learn and play the music that he likes. He receives a lot of techniques and tips. The teachers are awesome! I highly recommend this school.
