We had a great time! Came here because another review mentioned that the employees give you suggestions on where to start digging, and it was true. Camping was simple with fresh water and electricity on their basic camp sites. We went with two young kids- ages 7 and 5, and we all had a blast. It's addictive...

Fun place to look for Herkimers. Reasonable prices, and nice gift shop. Keep your eyes peeled for Herkimers on the ground. Definitely give the sluice mining a try. Bang away at some rocks and if your lucky you'll find some nice hidden crystals. My wife and I will be back again next year.

First time miner. Had a great experience over the weekend minus all the rain and storms. Found a lot of little gems gem quality. Met some other miners and had a great time. Camping is rustic but worth it. Get to know your neighbors and share in the experience together. Highly recommend a weekly trip as you dont want to leave after just a day. Will be a yearly thing for the family from now on.

Great place to go for herkimers. Been going a couple times a year for 3 years now and have a whole table full. I have taken friends and they love it too. You can get more than your money worth every time if you put in the work.
