Heritage Centers

I toured this facility when searching for a place to send my son. Something about this place just didn't sit right with me. The teachers looked miserable, the aides looked as though they were plucked off of the streets at random and hadn't even bothered to dress in proper clothing. I saw multiple employees wearing sweat pants and muscle shirts. Hardly any attire I would expect to see in a professional setting. The director seemed very stern and exacting. One of the first things she informed me about was how they disciplined the students when needed. I was polite and let her run through her talking points all the while thinking how I couldn't wait to get out of there. I knew within 10 minutes of my tour there that I would never send my child there, let alone board my cat there for even an hour. I feel bad for all the kiddos who are attending currently and hope that they're thriving in the environment they have been placed in. If you are searching for a school program for your atypically developing child, do yourself a favor and skip this place.
