Joey D's Pizza

Here is a place I go for angel hair with oil and garlic. Something simple and fairly healthy but, every time I have it taste different. I guess it depends who makes it. Pizza is average and prices are average. Typical menu for a Pizza shop. They have a parking lot but at times is a challenge due to the other businesses within the strip mall.

JOEY D'S is the BEST PIZZA in NEW JERSEY - POSSIBLY NY, TOO! One of the other reviewers mentioned that the number of good pizzerias in Brooklyn or Queens are sadly declining - having lived in Booklyn, i can tell you that nothing compares to a the pizza you were able to get in any of the 5 boroughs. Joey D's is on par with those kinds of pizzerias. Forget dominoes, pizza hut or olive garden, they don't quite have the true Italian flavor. Go to JOEY D'S for the REAL NEW YORK ITALIAN pizza and Italian cuisine experience!! They have an extensive menu of genuine Italian dishes, salads, sides- you name it, they have it! The pizza is awesome - thin crisp crust with the best tomato sauce ever - practically as good as my grandmother's! The restaurant is clean,, always fast fast fast delivery, very nice people - be sure to give your waitress, waiter or driver a handsome tip - remember that they bust their butts so you don't have to!!! There are many pizza places in Metuchen, what separates them all, well my opinion on Joey' D. There sauce on pizza seems different, but my family loves there garlic knots, I think best in Metuchen, because of the garlic butter ratio, always the best. Depending on your taste and preferences. Still ranked as one of the highest in Metuchen for pizza and wings and the people there are friendly and precise with your order. Overall I would definitely try them and see how your taste buds are delighted. Then serve up your opinion as well.

This is my go to Italian restaurant/pizzeria, in Metuchen NJ. Everything excellent! Worth every penny!
