Soma Center for Yoga & Bodywork

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This is an incredible place not just for yoga and bodywork but many other healing modalities and a variety of classes & workshops... movement therapies, massage, counseling, wellness and creativity workshops, prenatal yoga, advanced teacher trainings etc. It's a very warm and welcoming environment. Not pretentious or snooty. They've been around for a long time. The owner, director Bobbie is just great, very experienced, knowledgeable, very down to earth with a great sense of humor! Love this place!

This studio is one of the best I have been to. With a focus on feeling good and growth, the teachers create a comfortable and safe space for you to focus on your own yoga practice. There is no air of competition and the ego is left at the door step. This is a highly friendly, supportive, and comfortable environment! I highly recommend the Soma Center to anyone who wants to focus on personal growth and development, mindfulness, and peace all while improving their physical condition!

I've attended countless classes and also gone for massage at Soma Center. This place goes well beyond fitness to address the whole person and the effects have been life changing. Just walking in the door has a soothing, comforting effect.nYou'll find unique classes and wonderful healing services here. I can't even find words to describe the benefits I've reaped from frequenting this healing oasis...nI recommend it wholeheartedly!

Soma Center is the BEST center for yoga. Bobbie Ellis is a master teacher. Taking class there was the best yoga experience I've had. What she has to offer cannot be found in a gym environment. I've been to yoga classes in NYC and can't say enough about how much I have enjoyed the ones at Soma Center best.
