Great place for fishing and swimming. Just be mindful of the alarms that sounds off when they open the damn. The water rises quickly with a rapid current.
Worst beach ever, 0/10 stay away! This place is great. We enjoyed a few hours of riverside respite from the July 2020 heat. Little traffic, almost no bugs, plenty of fun for dogs.
Great spot to put in, with lots of parking. River is nice and clear.
Nice place to bring the kids. Pretty and peaceful. People should take their trash with them tho. But I bring trash bag and disposable gloves to pick up after their lazy butts
Great fishing and a small swimming hole if your willing to walk down the river some. It gets pretty crowded so I would suggest arriving early.
