Nice campground. Unexpected to have privacy in the wooded sites in such a heavily farmed area of the state. Clean bathrooms and showers. Careful not to get any tire on the grass though, enforcement is swift and over monitored.nnThe nearby Dam is a pleasant place to view. I heard there were large turtles around but didn't see any myself.nnA good beach for the kids and some playgrounds as well. Hiking and biking trails, too.

The trees were really dense in the campground. I prefer a more open campsite, but there aren't any that are more in the open.nnThe grounds were clean and well maintained, and there was a sign posted to prevent extra traffic from people not camping.nnYou have to book your site online. I didn't have an account and was having some difficulty navigating the website from my phone so I called the number provided and a lady from the state parks office got us squared away in just a few minutes.

Very quiet and good place to paddle board and kayak. Usually have some available for rent but Covid sucks
