I’ve been a huge fan of low VOR’s for years. But when I found the GEP VORTAC, I never looked back. I just tune, identify, twist and steer it’s great 8/8.
Really nice. Super clean restrooms. Beds were plush. Breakfast was gold and soggy sausages.
Always gets me where I need to go. but only if where I need to go is the Anoka County Airport via the VOR rwy 09 approach. 10/10 would go full deflection again
Really nice facility! Really solid range and the Morse code is a nice thing to listen to when arriving back in the Twin Cities
