One of my fav campgrounds ever, my family goes every year for a few weeks and we have never had a bad experience. There’s so much to do and all the facilities are really nice. The staff are so friendly and work so hard to keep everything running smoothly. The location is also really nice on the river. It’s very family friendly and there are lots of fun things to do throughout the week for both kids and their families. Love coming back every year and getting to see the family that runs it, they are so kind and hard working and really care about their customer’s experience. Would definitely recommend this campground!!

It's a great campground with an upper c as moving area and a lower camping area. Upper is more long term campers and short on trees. The lower is on a nice wedge between the Mississippi and the Platte rivers. Lots of big trees, a small beach area on the Platte. Not all of the sites on the lower have water/electric hook up. Only one shower house for entire campground.

Very friendly and clean. Chance to meet people from all over the county and State. Very clean and large sights. Very kid friendly lots of things for them to do. Can't wait till next spring to go back. Thanks Shorty's and Jodi.

We where just passing through with are Kayaks through the Creek/River or the 2 River that runs past their campground and where the Mississippi Connects we got on the Mississippi and realized the wind was 20-30 miles a hour blowing north leaving us going nowhere down the Mississippi so we were forced to stop in the loading dock at the campground we had to call a buddy to come pick us up... When my friend got to the ranger station area where campers pay the park owners demanded we pay the Rental fee for tube and transport of there tubing service of $12 a person But in are case per Kayak craft I think his exact words where (IF I LET YOU IN THROUGH ARE GATE AND GET YOUR THINGS AND LET YOU LEAVE I DON’T GET PAID) Are you serious buddy like we are in a tough situation already and your going to make it worse and charge us your unbelievable!!!! People that do business like this don’t deserve to be in business the camp ground was very nice and prior to this huge inconvenience and lack of human decency from the management I was actually going to suggest this campground to my family and friends... Not anymore I’m not!!! Good luck running money cut throat business (Do not support them...
