George Duranske represent me in the past and he did a great job. Quite a few years later I receive a letter from another lawyer who was part of lawsuit against large bank. Apparently this bank was dishonest and over charged me. I was excited to find that I was going to receive a few thousand back and I immediately called the number on the letter to receive payment. I was told that I would have to speak to George Duranske because he had representing me before in this related issue. So I reached out to Duranske law and spoke to his wife (I assumed). I’m paraphrasing but I was told that George would call me back right away. Later that day George’s wife asked me to fax the letter that I had received. She tells me that they will have to search for my info because George doesn’t remember the details of my case because it was years ago. A few days pass and nothing so I called George office again and I'm finally able to speak to George. He tells me that we will have to wait for the money to clear any debtors that I might of have/had. If we wait then theres a possibility that I would receive the full amount. At this point George told me he wasn’t going to charge me for anything, but if he has to deal with the debtor it would cost more then what I would receive. A month later I receive a bill from George for $630. I Immediately call George’s office and George tells me that he doesn’t work for free and he’s had to invest a lot of hours searching for my file( which told me he never found)and had multiple calls to the lawyer that sent me the letter. Im guessing but If George had a better filing system he probably wouldn’t had to rely other attorney as much. I told George that I never asked him to dig into this any further and based of what he had told me it wasn’t worth the effort. I told George that I was not going to pay him. He told me he wouldn’t advance any further in this matter but he shouldn’t have to work for free. George told me financially they were not doing so well and he can’t afford to do work for free. I felt bad for George so I told him if I received money from the lawsuit I would pay $630 he requested. George said we will wait till then. A few months later I receive the money from the lawsuit and head over to George Duranske office. His wife is there. I complained to her and told her I was disappointed with them. I feel that any agreement of payment should on a piece of paper. There should be a contract. Lawyers shouldn’t just assume that there’s an agreement. Anyway I gave $630 to George’s wife as im walking out I look at her receipt and see that she has made it a payment of $630 the new amount is $960. I turn around and ask her what is going on and she told me not to worry - that its all paid. I said Your receipt doesn’t reflect that. She told me she didn’t care for my attitude and they would never work with me again. She grabbed my receipt and wrote in paid. I said I need your signature as well please. She grabbed the receipt and signed it. Then she asked me where I work at. Why did she want to know that? How much power do they think they have. Btw I video recorded the whole conversation.

I hired George to help after a bad house fire my contractor Justin Goldstein stole $340,000 from me I hired George to help me get my money back. He did good in the beginning then wouldn’t help me to push insurance as nice to pay. I tried to explain I need money to pay you for your help. He talked about fdic funds then forgot about this. I had to help find the contractor to have sheriff serve papers. I am a disabled vet so I don’t have to pay sales tax and the state got this all screwed up but I don’t think George believed me and he took my money ( cash ) then dropped me with no help. He knows I get confused easily as a total and permanent disabled veteran and just left me for the wolves. Mark jenni

George Duranske is an amazing person! He started out as my family court lawyer and thenhelped us when we got into a bad accident. He made sure we got what we deserve and never gave up fighting for what he felt was right. Some people treated us funny because we are native. That didn't matter to George. He stood by us and is still standing by us.

Never met the man, but in trying to talk with him on the phone it was apparent he does not need more work. He let me know he was very busy with other matters and may or may not be able to return my call later in the day. His egosentric attitude and demeanor was not want I would pay money for. Thank you George for telling me to find someone else and that you did not appreciate my attitude. Believe me when I say the feeling is mutual. P.Talbott

Too many broken promises!nI was told by George that I can't speak out against the way I was treated...there will be consequences.nnWell, my husband suffered with me in the hospital after the accident & I believe that caused his heart problem, which led to his death.nNone of the lawyers/insurance people care about any of this.nnNo one cares.
