I love this masjid. I have gone here since I was a little child, and I have always felt a connection to it. It's nice and big, so it can hold a lot of people, and the lectures and jummahs here are great too.

Have asked staff for almost a decade to relay message to Imam to ask that visitors to be respectful of neighbors. Parking lot stays empty during minor events while street parking gets overwhelmed. I have a shared driveway with a neighbor. It continues to be obstructed. Have tried being polite, have tried being angry. Nothing has worked. Most times I don't care, but occasionally this lack of respect has caused me to miss appointments and be late to work. This is the major issue. It is totally independent of the multiple hit and run parking accidents which have taken place. I can tell you what each and every one of my friends drive, but when someone backs into our cars, nobody knows anything. It's definitely obnoxious and kind of rude. I'm not Muslim, but my neighbor is, and he agrees. He told me a few years back that he stopped attending services there for his own reasons, despite living directly across the street. Really, the entrance needs to be moved to the next street over. Nobody lives over there, and there were plans a few years ago for a parking lot which has yet to materialise. In either case, I don't think it's too difficult to assign a person/volunteer to direct traffic. Pretty sure this could be used for high school community service credits. The Catholics (something I'm also not) did it when they occupied the building. Not sure what the hangup is. Literally direct traffic to the parking lot and keep people from blocking the few driveways on the street, and we're good.nnWe had plans tonight, and they got cancelled because we couldn't leave.

I love that this Masjid has a brother and sister side. Subhanallah

The best place to be. I go there for jumm'a Prayer, imamams are the Heros. May Allah protect our Masjids.
